How hardy is Electric Yellow Lab Cichlids fish?
I am thinking to buy some electric yellow lab cichlids for my 3 foot tanks. Can some one please give me some information about these fish? Are they hardy like fancy goldfish? or they are sensetive like Angelfish?
They are considered an easy care fish, suitable for beginners. But so are Angelfish. Just they prefer different water conditons.
As long as you have a suitable size tank, something 3ft long should be OK for a male and a couple of females, and good filtering they should be fine.
Make sure you understand how the filtering and nitrogen cycle work in the tank. Once you get that correct most fish are relatively easy to care for.
