What kind of stratocaster?

The guy above me doesn’t know what he’s talking about! There’s been some great stratocasters that have been made in mexico! The higher priced mexican stratocasters are better though.
The gutiar you’re looking at is a “STARcaster” (not a STRATocaster) Starcasters are cheap. They’re not made in mexico, they’re made in some place like indonesia or china (which isn’t very good)
